日本产经新闻与共同社报导，29日下午1时40分左右，在静冈县的富士山御殿场路径6合目附近，有登山客通过山上小屋的工作人员报警称同行者突然失去意识。警方表示，来自台湾的49岁黄姓卡车司机随后被确认死亡。
报导称，据知黄男从台湾来到日本旅行，与多名友人共同攀登富士山，在山上突然失去意识。静冈县山岳遇难救助队正在调查事件详细经过。
